The French Longhorn 4 method is a method which implements, in a
fun way, the new French teaching program based on the principles of a skills-based approach. Aimed at learners in the first cycle of primary school, it promotes the acquisition of general skills, basic language skills, attitudes and positive values. It also promotes the application of knowledge acquired in the classroom in daily life.
The method offers content rooted in the general experiences of the learner as well as relevant and contemporary issues (QPC) featured in the curriculum. Learning is meant to be interactive; activities and tasks are closely linked to experiences relating to the learner’s environment and its social realities. This in a simple but stimulating way. Activities and tasks also promote the development of critical thinking and creativity, as well as the acquisition of essential skills for everyday living.
