KLB Early Grade English Language Activities Grade 3
Rated 0 out of 5KShs406This Grade 3 English Language Activities Book uses research-based techniques to support pupils in developing English language skills. This book covers core competencies, pertinent and contemporary issues, and four literacy areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as all themes and values described in the KICD Competency Based Curriculum. The book offers learners in Grade 3 a variety of learning experiences and assessments that support the expected learning outcomes in the key activity areas. This book builds upon the experience gained during the piloting of the Tusome Early Literacy Program. Tusome is a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and USAID. The expectation is that learners who complete the content in this book will achieve essential Grade 3 literacy skills in English, including reading fluency, comprehension skills and writing competencies. In addition, learners who complete Grade 3 English should be able to learn in English as the medium of instruction in higher grades.
